WHY I'M TAKING PART IN THE SPECIAL FORCES CHALLENGE...

Growing up, I was lucky to have a childhood upbringing which I was surrounded by a loving family who supported and provided me the opportunity to become the best version of me. Signing up as a recruit in the TCF Special Forces Challenge, gives me the opportunity to raise money which will go towards helping young people who don’t have what I had growing up and help them to become the best version of themselves.

As well as taking part as recruit in the challenge to raise money and awareness for the the cause, I’ve also donated to the cause for the current and previous challenge as I’m a big believer that if I’m in a position where I can help someone who needs support and help that I should.


ABOUT THE TERRY CAMPESE FOUNDATION...

The Terry Campese Foundation (TCF) is a not-for-profit on a mission to help build brighter futures for young people.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to become the best possible version of themselves, but sometimes a young person's mindset, circumstances or lifestyle can get in the way.

We focus on equipping young people with confidence, self-worth and
resilience by helping them to:

- reflect on how they respond in different scenarios.
- develop the right tools to deal with challenging situations.
- build their ability to communicate effectively.
- test their new skills in a safe setting and prove to themselves what
- they're capable of with a little effort and persistence.

We help to give young people the space (away from social media and other life pressures) and guidance to build the life skills that will set them up for success.
