Thanks for helping me make a difference for the young people the Terry Campese Foundation supports.
I am beyond grateful to be a part of this program, helping to make a difference for the lives of our youth. Over the past years I have seen, heard and felt the impact that this charity can make in young people’s lives and am so honoured to have the opportunity to support the Terry Campese Foundation with it’s mission.
As a primary school teacher I work with children from all walks of life. The challenges and experiences many of our young people are faced with can lead them down such a complex path. Unfortunately, I have learned that there is only so much I can offer as a teacher, and at times being an advocate for education can put me in a unfavourable position with the many children that just simply don’t succeed in a school setting. This foundation offers our youth an alternate journey to feel safe, to feel heard, to learn and to thrive, which makes it so incredibly important.
In 2022, I was fortunate enough to walk the Lara Pinta Trail with the TCF youth mentor group, and the growth that I witnessed among the kids was truly special.
I hope that with this ongoing initiative, and the overall support from the Terry Campese Foundation, more and more children that walk complex lives are given an opportunity to the become the absolute best versions of themselves.
